Heaven Restaurant's Mushroom Soup Recipe
5 small white onions, peeled and finely chopped
¼ cup cooking oil
3 kg mushrooms, chopped
8 cups milk
3/4 cup soy sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Add oil to large cooking pot. Add onions and sauté until transparent. Add chopped mushrooms and let them cook for 10-12 minutes. Add enough water to the pot to cover the mushrooms. Cook for another 20 minutes.
Remove soup from the stove and blend. Mix blended mushroom mix with milk and soy sauce. Return to pan on the stove and bring back up to temperature. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
