Meze Fresh’s Stir-fried Oyster Mushroom Recipe
1 kg Kigali Farms oyster mushrooms, chopped
1 white onion, chopped
Wash mushrooms to remove any dirt and debris then chop into small pieces. Boil chopped mushrooms in a large pot with some salt for 30-40 minutes. Drain mushrooms by removing all water from the pot. Fry 1-2 chopped onions in a flat pan then add boiled mushrooms for frying. Stir mushrooms and onions and add black pepper and garlic powder to taste. Continue cooking until you can no longer see oil in the pan, as you would fry meat. Serve hot with rice, beans, vegetables, sauces and cheese wrapped in a hot tortilla (chapatti), with chips or directly on your plate.
