A mushroom substrate is a substance on which mycelium, a collection of cells that produces vegetative growth of a fungus; it is similar to that of an apple tree as the foundation of growing apples.

mushroom substrate

1 square meter is enough to grow 1 kilogram of mushrooms per week, year round.

Substrate represents 80 to 90% of a grower's long-term cost. Therefore, to be successful, a mushroom grower needs high quality substrate, available at fair prices, and available on demand. That is why we focus on substrate tubes as the foundation for a vibrant mushroom industry.

We have the largest substrate production facility in the country, run by highly-trained practitioners, with rigorous quality control, and we produce substrate on a continuous basis. We aim to provide substrate at costs that will allow our growers to get a good return on their investment.

We currently use cottonseed hulls as our primary raw material, and obtain yields of up to 400 grams of mushroom per 1 kg of substrate. That is the best production rate in the country.
